Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 87 ℉, condition: Flurries.
Cooler night, and some rain area wide (mostly north and east of Viroqua) has fishing good this morning. The humidity will keep the trico spinner fall sparse, but fish will still be looking up to small bugs this morning, then switching to terrestrials with a dropper in the later morning.Subsurface bugs that are working best are pink squirrels, slim bodied micro nymphs, and pheasant tails.
Water temps are still in the 60s. Anything over 70 can be lethal to trout, so use your thermometer!
