Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

After a nice soaking rain last night, temperatures have dropped to a comfortable level!
A little over an inch should have no impact on water clarity, but the cool rain should get things going strong all day today.  Look for fish to be eating scuds very well, and for hatches to intensify a bit with some cooler water.
Some streams may show a bit of stain, but nothing will be blown out completely.
Midges, craneflies, and light colored mayflies in the evening.  Terrestrials and caddis on the surface mid day.
Scuds, thin bodied nymphs and leeches subsurface today.
