Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 66 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Cooler weather and some drizzle has dropped water temperatures down a bit and the fish have responded!
Hatches are sporadic throughout the day and becoming stronger in the evenings on most streams.
Fish are eating midges, olives, caddis, craneflies, yellow sallies, and some lighter colored mayflies on top.
Subsurface fishing remains strong with some nice fishing on scuds lately as well as midge larvae and pink squirrels.  Leeches have gotten hot again with the cloudier weather too.
The great weather continues today and Saturday.
