Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 84 ℉, condition: Partly Cloudy.

Warm and sunny day today with a wind from the South.  The only limiting factor to having incredible fishing is the sun.  Fishing early, fishing late, and finding shade will increase your opportunities.  Fish are very spooky in the low and clear water.
The good news is that pretty much every bug you expect to hatch in May and June is hatching.  Caddis (which were very heavy last night), Sulphurs, Craneflies, Yellow Sallies, Olives, PMDs... all are coming off in the late afternoon into the evening.
Fish are in the riffles feeding and will drift back into deeper runs and underneath the banks mid day.
Water temps are in the 50s.
