Driftless Area
Rating: 4, temperature: 61 ℉, condition: Flurries.
On paper, today should be decent, but if you remember to move your bugs fishing will be fantastic!Caddis are the main hatch, especially with brighter skies. We have been having great success skittering caddis on the surface of riffles, swinging soft hackles, and even twitching caddis pupae.
Do not forget craneflies too, they are as active as caddis when they hatch, and if you are fishing 'bigger' Driftless water they are extremely important this time of year.
Water temps are in the mid to high 50s, and everything is clear and flowing pretty normal for this time of year.
