Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 70 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Very little rain fell last night which will leave streams the same as the past few days.
With some clouds and possible showers later today, the fishing should be more mayfly and midge later today.
Being sunny in the middle part of the day, we should see caddis hatching too.
Subsurface patterns will be excellent as the cloud cover will really get scuds moving around and the bit of cloudy weather this morning (and again this evening) should get other bugs active.
Leeches and streamers are moving fish again, but tiny, thin bodied patterns seem to be most effective right now in a non-hatch situation.
Waters are low and clear, so be extra cautious as fish are extremely spooky.
