A bit of wind today will keep surface fishing down a bit.However, fishing overall has still been great with fish eating subsurface in the mornings, especially on scuds and midge larvae, then midges and olives have fish rising in the evenings.
The black caddis hatch is still not here yet, and with some cooler weather and water temps getting back to normal, it may be set to pop a bit more near the middle of this month. We'll let you know!
Leeches and streamers have started catching fish again, and any nymph with a bit of red in it is still doing very good.
