Temperatures are cooler over the next few days, relative to the beginning of the month. Fishing has been slower in the mornings after chilly nights, but fish are rising in the afternoon and into the evening on olives, caddis, and craneflies.Water temps are in the 40s to 50s area wide, and our waters are clear and low still.
Subsurface action has been best on caddis larvae and pupae, as well as small thin bodied nymphs in darker colors.
Streamer fishing has cooled down a bit, but some very nice fish are still eating leeches and streamers.
