Driftless Area
Rating: 4, temperature: 76 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.
Cloudy today, which is a huge change from the past few days of bright sun.Fishing has been great and should only be better with the cloudy weather over the next few days.
Midges, olives, and some caddis are hatching. Fish are feeding on midge pupae in the runs and will readily take a caddis pattern in the riffles.
Below the surface, scuds are working very well, as are smaller nymphs in red and black, as well as midge larvae.
