Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 76 ℉, condition: Flurries.

After a week of great weather, it gets even better this weekend as some clouds finally roll into the area over the next few days.
Fishing has been great this March as the warm weather has water temperatures in the high 30s to mid 40s.  There have been hatches of midges and olives daily, and with some cloudy weather these should only get stronger.  With the water water temps fish are rising into the evening.
Sub surface fishing has been best, with red copper johns, thin bodied dark flies, scuds and leeches all catching fish.
  More clouds mean better fishing!
