Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 59 ℉, condition: Dust.

Insignificat rain last night means our water is all still clear to slightly stained.
Fishing is still solid with water temperatures peaking in the low to mid 40s in the afternoon.
Hatches have started up again with warm weather (it is supposed to be 60-70 degrees all week!) with midges showing up on most streams daily, and blue winged olives ready to pop at any time.  There have even been some reports of Hendricksons!
Fishing sub surfacfe is very good on midge larvae and other thin bodied, dark nymphs.  Scuds have been good too, and some big fish have been caught fishing streamers and leeches.
