Mild day today with a chance of rain this morning, but burning off this afternoon. Fishing has been excellent in Iowa lately, with fish eating on the surface (midges, olives, and ants) all day. Scud fishing and small nymphs sub surface are also deadly.Bigger fish are hammering streamers and leeches as they put some weight on for spawning and winter.
