WISCONSIN TROUT SEASON IS OVER. FISHING CONTINUES IN IOWA.More fish rising recently as the water warms up a bit due to sunnier days. Olives and midges are hatching and fish are feeding on them as well as terrestrials. The next week is going to be sunny and very warm (70s). A great week to get out and fish Iowa.
Fish are also still gorging sub surface on scuds and small nymphs and midge larvae.
Streamers have also been extremely successful lately with quite a few larger fish being taken on actively stripped streamers.
