Today is the last day of Wisconsin's trout season!  We will continue to update the fishing report as we shift our focus to Iowa and take advantage of the fishing a short drive from Viroqua this fall.

The wind will have calmed down a bit and the sun will come out a bit today.  Still breezy, but you will not be blown away like yesterday!
Fish will be stacked in the riffles as they were the past few days, with a few meandering out to feed on dries in the late afternoon/evening.
Nymphing the riffles has been extremely successful lately, and swinging soft hackles or buggers below them has accounted for some larger fish.  Trout are still looking up for hoppers on the meadow streams, and there are sporadic blue winged olive hatches that will get pools of fish rising too.
