Driftless Area

Rating: 5, temperature: 65 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

You could not ask for better weekend weather.  Clouds all weekend and a chance of showers on Sunday.  The colder weather and water temperatures have had fish feeding heavily.  The cloud cover this weekend should extend the hatches quite a bit.  Look for olives and midges all day, and do not forget to fish hoppers and smaller terrestrials in the afternoon.
Sub-surface, fish scuds (they are more active when the sun is off the water) and small (16-22) thin bodied bead head nymphs.
Streamers and leeches have really taken off and are catching lots of large, aggressive fish.
