Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 81 ℉, condition: Dust.

The storm passing through the area today is calling for a tenth to a quarter of an inch of total accumulation.  Nothing that will blow streams out, and a nice cold rain will rapidly drop water temperatures into the prime zone as well as get the springs pumping cold water into the system.
Fishing has been strong, especially in the mornings and evenings when the sun is off the water.  The dropping temperatures, clouds and light rain this weekend should be excellent for the olive hatch, and on Sunday when the breeze picks up a bit, the hopper fishing should be fantastic.
