Driftless Area
Rating: 4, temperature: 79 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.
Fishing has been incredible lately. Even with the bright sun yesterday (and continuing today) fish were munching hoppers and small parachute flies on the surface with small glass bead nymphs dropped below. In the deeper holes fish are picking up on tungsten bead head nymphs drifted slow and deep.
Water temperatures are still in the mid 50s to 60s area wide with the exception of a handful of streams. If the water temp is above 65 degrees fishing will be off and it can start to stress fish so please use your thermometer.
