Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 92 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Fishing is good, but only early and late when the sun is off the water and the heat and humidity are less oppressive.  Remeber a thermometer and if a stream is over 65 degrees you will want to move on as it will not be good fishing and possibly dangerous to trout.  Thankfully only a handful of streams are that warm, even with the hot air temperatures.
Fish are eating midges and caddis in the morning, then hoppers and scuds in the evenings.
