Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 83 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Great fishing in the early morning (sun is up enough to fish just after 5 a.m.) and again in the evening.  Fish are rising to midges and ants when the sun is off the water.  They are also eating scuds and midge larvae sub surface.
The air temperatures are quite comfortable early and late too.
Mid day, you can have some success fishing a hopper and a midge larvae as a dropper.  The percentages go down, but if you find some shade and get the flies near undercut banks you can still have a good time.
Waters are clear, fish are spooky when the sun is out.  Water temps average in the low 60s.
