Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 80 ℉, condition: Cloudy.

Warm and sunny today.  Typical summer conditions which means we will start fishing the first four hours of the day (midge hatches, scuds, other small nymphs) take a break mid day, then fish the last four hours of the day (caddis, terrestrials, small midge larvae).  You can fish mid day if you find some shade, but the fish tend to sulk a bit in the mid day sun.  Terrestrials and micro nymphs work during the middle portion of the day.
Mouse patterns at night will be very effective.
