Driftless Area

Rating: 5, temperature: 72 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Partly cloudy today and cool again.  It will be a bit breezy today as a storm front rolls in.
Fishing has been fantastic lately with fish feeding heavily on the surface.  There is a large mix of bugs hatching including sulphurs, cahills, march browns, hendricksons, olives, caddis, craneflies, and midges.  Terrestrials are even working well. Everything seems to be popping off right now, but the lighter colored surface flies are usually what the fish are keying in on.
Subsurface the fish are feeding extremely well on scuds and other thicker bodied nymphs and midge larvae.
Waters are clear and cold and flowing well.
