Driftless Area

Rating: 5, temperature: 72 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Only a slight drizzle last night will have no effect on the area streams.  Overall water is clear to stained and running at a great water temperature.
Fishing has been excellent with the cooler temps and will continue to be throughout the weekend.
Caddis, Craneflies, Cahills, and Sulphurs are all hatching right now getting fish feeding on the surface in the middle of the day until dusk.  Not mega hatches, but fish are still feeding on the surface.
In the mornings, scuds, pheasant tail nymphs, and leeches are getting fish to eat.
