Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 63 ℉, condition: Flurries.

With the recent rains already through most of our streams we are seeing clear to stained water area wide.  Caddis, craneflies and light colored mayflies are hatching everywhere, and fish are feeding well on the surface as well as sub surface (scuds, pheasant tail style nymphs, midge larvae).
Water temps are still in the low to mid 50s as cooler nights are keeping the temperatures perfect for this time of year.
Today will be sunny in the morning with some clouds rolling in in the afternoon.
