Fishing Reports

Rating: 4, temperature: 67 ℉, condition: Flurries.

With the lack of recent storms in the area (the weekend rains missed most of Vernon County completely), our waters are clear and cool running at a temp in the low to mid 50s.  Fish are feeding on caddis, craneflies, and we have even seen a few light colored mayflies hatching in the afternoon.
  Mornings are fishing strong on mayfly nymphs, and caddis pupae and the afternoon switching to a dry dropper to search, or a single flush riding caddis or sulphur pattern is working well.
