Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 63 ℉, condition: Cloudy.

Another strong day of fishing as the sun will be shining all day long propping the water temperature up to 50 degrees.  Watch for black caddis today along with midges and a smattering of large slate winged duns (size 16-18 blue winged olives).
  Area wide water is clear.
Tiny nymphs are the most effective pattern sub surface, but caddis pupae and scuds are catching up quickly as the hatch starts to switch from midges to caddis.
Leeches and streamers are catching some big, aggressive fish.
