Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 59 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.
Still sunny over in Iowa which has hatches pushed near dusk. Olives and midges are hatching and fish are still feeding on ants, beetles and hoppers on the surface.Scuds have been THE hot fly this October and will continue to be so this week.
Fish are holding in a bit deeper water in the mornings as night time temperatures are driving them a bit deeper, but as the day progresses they are moving out into the runs and riffles to feed.
