A clear night last night and a new weather front means cooler weather for the next couple of days. The drop in just a couple of degrees can mean a swing to the positive side for insect activity and fishing as well! (Think of it as the early season in reverse).Fishing has been great on smaller scuds and nymphs especially those with a bit of bright color on them. Surface activity has been sparse, but with the cooler nights we should see more of the trico spinner fall in the mornings over the next few days. Other than that, this is terrestrial time with ants, crickets, beetles, and hoppers catching lots of fish.
