Driftless Area

Rating: 2, temperature: 81 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

UPDATE 4:00 P.M.  There is fishable water, and it is great: http://www.driftlessangler.com/blog/view/1003

Best case scenario happened last night!  No rain after noon yesterday means the creeks will drop quickly and the larger ones will start clearing.  There are a handful of creeks that are already clear this morning and with the chance of rain gone today things are looking great.  Rated fishing fair this morning as many streams are still chocolate, but the ones that are clear are going to be on fire.
Terrestrials with a midge or small pink squirrel dropper in the clear stuff.  Leeches, streamers, crayfish, San Juan worms and scuds in the murkier waters.
Remember if you can see your laces in a boot deep riffle, than you have a shot at catching fish.
Fish are always more aggressive after high water events, take advantage of the next few days if you can!
