UPDATE 4:00 PM: Our guides have all finished on the water and fishing was fantastic. Cool air and water temps over the next few days should have fish very happy. Terrestrials and midge droppers again, even small hoppers were producing fish!Fishing today will be very good when it is shady, and fair when the sun is on the water around noon.
The main branches (West Fork, Timber Coulee) are still clearing and dropping, while the smaller creeks are running clear to slightly stained.
Fish are feeding on terrestrials on the surface as well as tiny thin bodied nymphs and scuds sub surface.
Today is going to be sunny again so find some shade and fish early and late for the best fishing. Mid day the fish will hide under the banks and lunker structures and grass edges and will be difficult to coax out.
