Driftless Area

Rating: 2, temperature: 82 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Another half inch of rain last night will have waters high and murky until this afternoon again.  Some of the smaller tributaries will drop and clear by this evening.
Fishing the murky water with leeches and streamers (especially in black and yellow) has been successful in the past couple of days.
As the water clears up beetles, ants, and even small hoppers with a tiny nymph or midge dropper has been  very effective.
The next few days will be rain free, but bright and sunny so be prepared to fish early and late this coming week.
