Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 76 ℉, condition: Dust.

Light rains last night and throughout the morning.  Rain is supposed to stop by 10 and clouds stay in the area afterwards.
Fishing has been solid despite low hatch activity.  Fishing is best with nymphs in the riffles, and terrestrials are starting to catch quite a few fish.
In the evenings fish will eat in the riffles on the surface when given a look at a yellow sally or cranefly.  Fish will also readily take a beetle, ant, or caddis pattern.
Conditions are looking great for this weekend with a slight chance of rain tomorrow and highs in the low 70s.  Water temps are perfect and we should see more light mayflies starting to hatch.
