Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Cloudy this morning, then clearing up in the afternoon.  Much cooler than the past couple of days with a high of 77.
There was a tiny bit of rain last night (.17 inches total) which cooled things down nicely.  Water temperatures are hovering around 60 after a hot weekend.
Look for fish to be feeding better over the next few days in the riffles.
A hopper or indicator dry fly with a small thin bodied nymph as a dropper is still working incredibly well.
Soft hackles and streamers are also turning a bunch of fish.
Fishing is still best in the early morning, and the evening.  The bright sun mid day slows fishing down quite a bit.
