Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 80 ℉, condition: Cloudy.

Despite sunny weather, fishing is still great.  A dry fly and a dropper fished in the ankle to thigh deep water.
The hopper bite has gone down a bit, but caddis flies fished in the film are doing incredibly well.
Dropper nymphs include small pheasant tails and other micro mayflies as well as midge larvae.
In the evenings fish are looking up and will take attractor dries, a handful of caddis, as well as sulphurs and yellow sallies.
In the middle part of the day, look for shade.
