Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 79 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

Rains yesterday have already passed through the streams leaving us clear to slightly stained water area wide.  There is a chance of more localized rain today, but total accumulation is supposed to be insignificant.
Fish are feeding well after a cool water flush on scuds and small thin bodied nymphs.  Most of the fish are still hanging out in the riffles and will hit little nymphs drifted by, as well as bigger indicator dries on the surface.
Hoppers are starting to show up and are fishing well too.
Hatches are limited right now.  We are seeing cream midges in the mornings, yellow sallies and sulphurs in the evening, and craneflies during the day.
