Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 90 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Hot today, and sunny.  Fish like you would mid summer as this is the second hot day in a row and water temps have crept upwards.
Yellow sallies and craneflies are hatching, as well as a handful of sulphurs in the evenings.
Midges in the mornings, and fishing an indicator dry fly (it is not too early to fish hoppers!) with a small, thin bodied nymph or midge larva as a dropper has worked very well in the riffles lately.
On shaded and deeper water, streamers and leeches have been getting aggressive fish to hit.
