Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 68 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

A nice cool drizzle this morning that will end about 10:00 a.m.
Fishing remains strong with hatches in the early morning and the last few hours of sunlight too.
Mid day, especially on cloudy days like today, fishing a hopper and a dropped nymph has been fantastic.  Droppers include midge larvae, thin bodied nymphs, and pink squirrels.
Streamers have been working very well in deeper holes, as have scuds twitched along the bottom.
A warm front will roll in this weekend starting on Saturday so be prepared to wet wade this weekend!
