Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 67 ℉, condition: Windy.
Dry fly activity was a bit off yesterday as the weather patterns have been fluctuating over the weekend. Today's cloudy weather should give us more consistent dry fly fishing. There are midges, blue winged olives, tan and black caddis hatching throughout the area. The black caddis hatch is not yet the major blanket hatch although it has been thick in some areas.Sub surface fish are eating scuds readily, especially lighter colors. They are also taking thicker bodied nymphs as well as leeches.
There is a slight chance of thundershowers today (30%).
