Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 67 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Although the clouds yesterday seemed to lessen the caddis hatch, the blue winged olives more than made up for it.
We are still seeing caddis, both black and tan, olives, and midges hatching with surface activity from mid day into the evening.
Sub surface fish are feeding on scuds, caddis pupae, and soft hackles.
Water temperatures are great for this time of year getting a little cooler overnight and rising throughout the day.
Today will be warm and sunny.  Good caddis weather!
