Recent rains have not hit our area hard at all. All of our water is fishable and running crystal clear to slightly stained. However the cold snap has dropped water temperatures. No need to get out early today. Let the water warm a bit and you will find much more active fish.Fish are still looking up to midges and small mayflies, and as the water warms up today they will be eating scuds and other nymphs on the bottom. The water temps are not too low to not fish leeches and streamers. There are still aggressive fish that are taking slowly stripped patterns.
Today will be be breezy, and it will warm up over the next few days.
