Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 60 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Waters are clear and fishable area wide.  We have even started to see fish rising again in the afternoons.  Most fish are eating midges sub surface below the riffles and will switch to some adults later on in the day.
Larger nymphs and scuds are still taking fish, as are leeches, but with the bright days ahead fish are a bit more spooky.
A high of 60 today, this could really kick off the season and end our winter fishing water temperatures!
