A great deep freeze last night, another sunny and slow melting day today. Streams are still clear and flowing very well. Water temperatures are hitting 40 degrees around 2:30 in the afternoon and bugs are starting to hatch (midges, winter stones, and even some olives) around 11.Conditions look great for the weekend with highs in the low 40s and sun on Saturday turning to clouds and a slight chance of wintry mix Sunday afternoon.
Remember to use caution parking on Saturday as there is still some snow on the sides of roads.
