A nice cool weekend is on us. Crisp this morning which means creeks have had a great cool down overnight.
Watch for olives hatching when the sun is off the water. We have also seen a resurgence of flying ants. Don't forget ant patterns!
With a slight breeze, terrestrials will be excellent this weekend too as they are blown around a bit. Just have to wait a bit for the ground to warm up before they really get going.
Subsurface fishing is still best on tiny, thin bodied and dark nymphs and larvae, while scud action is picking up with the cooler water.
Again, when it is dark, streamers leeches and mice have been getting some very nice sized fish!
