Fish nymphs deep and roll them in the runs and into the pools. Fish can move up into the riffles in the later afternoon and there is a slim chance you will see some fish rising to midges in the later afternoon.
Use some caution! This is the start of spawning time. If there are active spawning beds, DO NOT FISH THEM. Leave the gravel alone and fish the pools well below.
