Ugh. It is no longer looking rosy for the weekend. After driving around a bit most of our creeks are locked up with enough ice to make fishing difficult to, in some cases, impossible. No real melting today as it is still cold and the sun is behind the clouds. Tomorrow will bring some excellent weather (especially compared to the past week!) and will make for a great day to be outside with some mediocre fishing. If you are headed to the area, bring your snowshoes and expect a good mental break day or two, but don't expect wonderful fishing outside.
