Happy trout season opener! The creeks are cold, but clear and most are ice free. It's cold enough out that we don't recommend fishing, but salute the braves souls who will go hook a fish just because it is opener.
If you do fish, please be careful not only for yourself, but for the fish. Prolonged exposure to this type of cold can freeze their gills!
