Season runs through October 15th now! Get out and fish!
Sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
Creeks are clear to stained and flowing very well. Bankside vegetation is pushed down or just gone after the high waters a week ago. Water temperatures are in the mid to high 50s.
Fishing has been great when the sun is off the water. On sunny days, fishing deep and finding the shade is essential.
Scuds have really started to fish well with the cooler water and weather. Otherwise, small midge larvae and pheasant tail type nymphs are working subsurface.
On top, smaller terrestrials are still the meal of choice. We're seeing spotty olive activity in the afternoon/evening too.
