We're in mid summer mode. What that means is the rhythm of tricos in the mornings, followed by hopper dropper in the late morning, followed by a break mid day. In the early evenings, getting back on the water with hopper/dropper and possibly fishing some midges. We're also rolling tiny, heavily weighted bead head nymphs along the bottom of deeper pools and beneath undercut banks.
Sun and water temperature are going to be the limiting factors for fishing. Find shade, fish early and late, and use your thermometer. Anything over 65 degrees will be poor fishing, and much higher than that can put stress on trout.
