A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph.
Summer weather!  Sunny this morning leading to increasing clouds and possible rain.  It is not as brutally hot out today (and for the rest of the week!) and the clouds will help fishing drastically.   Sun and water temperatures are still the limiting factor.  Try to find shade, and fish water that is below 65 degrees.
Tricos in the mornings, then terrestrials with a dropper throughout the day.  We are starting to have success on hoppers and we have been seeing more and more of them in the valleys the past few days.  Midges will get fish to eat in the evenings on the surface.
Sub-Surface fishing has followed the rule that when the creeks are clear and sunny, fish smaller and thinner flies.  When the creeks are stained or clear, fish thicker bodied flies and leeches.
