Sunny, with a high near 64. South wind 7 to 15 mph.
Caddis are starting to show up slowly but surely on area creeks. With this warmer, sunny weather we should see more as we head into the weekend!
Creeks are clear and flowing well with water temperatures in the mid 40s to 50. The bright sun will be difficult to fish until bugs start to show up, so find some shade and concentrate on deeper pools and undercut banks.
Subsurface flies that have been best are Dirty Birds, scuds, leeches, and pheasant tails. On the surface fish are liking simple parachute adams and hippie stompers. Where the caddis are hatching we have seen both black and tan caddis.
