Fishing has been fantastic the past few days with fish feeding well subsurface, and surface feeders in the afternoon on creek with temperatures over 45 (even on hippie stompers already!).
Overall the Driftless is in excellent shape with good flows and clear water. We're slated for some rain the next day or two and we will keep you updated on clarity and conditions. It isn't supposed to be a heavy rain which means much of it will soak into the ground and make its way into the springs!
Hatches of midges and olives daily, we have started to see a small number of black caddis on a few creeks as well. Subsurface leeches, franchise, and dirty birds have been excellent lately.
